Goya Universe: Between Light and Darkness, an Immersive Francisco Goya Exhibition at the Atmatller Art Centre, Barcelona
While working for the production company Tururut Art Infogràfic, I had the opportunity to be part of this project. I was directly involved in the creation of the immersive room experience, including the mapping installation where Goya’s portraits come to life, as well as the projection of one of Francisco Goya’s most famous quotes translated into sign language for deaf audiences.
Being part of this project allowed me to actively engage in the creative process, contribute ideas, and fully immerse myself in the development of the experience. It was a hands-on role that gave me the opportunity to use my creativity, understand the technical and artistic decisions behind an immersive exhibition, and learn from every stage of the production. The experience was both enriching and inspiring, and it helped me grow professionally while deepening my appreciation for immersive storytelling.
Art has always been an important part of my life. Thanks to my mother, who introduced me to museums and exhibitions from a very young age, I grew up surrounded by art and cultural spaces. Since the first immersive exhibitions began to appear, I have visited as many as possible, drawn by their ability to connect art, technology and emotion. Being able to participate in the creation of an immersive exhibition myself has been a dream come true, and this project confirmed my passion for working at the intersection of art, creativity and experience design.
